Librestream Technologies, Inc. today announced that it has entered into an OEM agreement with TANDBERG® (OSLO: TAA.OL), a global leader in visual communication, for LibreStream’s n_sight™ Mobile Video Collaboration System. TANDBERG will be offering the system to the market as the TANDBERG FieldView™ Mobile Video Collaboration System. The two companies have also agreed to cooperate at an engineering level to ensure interoperability between FieldView and other standards-based videoconferencing systems from TANDBERG.

LibreStream’s product is a revolutionary new collaboration tool that extends the reach and benefits of video out to the field where mission critical issues need to be reviewed and dealt with on a real-time basis. Features of the easy-to-use hand held device and client software include WiFi enabled wireless mobility, two-way voice, high-resolution streaming video with still image capture, on-screen telestration (drawing), and remote control.

“LibreStream developed the vision for n_sight product almost three years ago”, said Kerry Thacher, LibreStream’s founder and CEO. “We saw the need to mobilize video communications in the workplace, and to provide collaboration tools to drive additional value into the mobile video paradigm. We were encouraged and energized when we had the opportunity to share this vision with TANDBERG, a company that is known for innovation, outstanding commitment to customer needs, and a deep understanding of the industry verticals that it serves.”

“TANDBERG believes that tremendous value can be unlocked by embedding video into work processes across a variety of industries, including manufacturing, repair and service, construction, and healthcare,” said John Paul Williams, Global Business Development Manager, Manufacturing. “Mobility is a critical enabler in unlocking this value, and LibreStream’s Mobile Video Collaboration System is a great fit with TANDBERG.s core competencies in visual communication.”
